All About Us

We are a small, committee run Club based at Dringhouses Primary School in York and are a registered charity, number 1199392.

We offer childcare for up to 75 children from Reception to Year 6. We provide a Breakfast Club, an After School and a Holiday Club.

We aim to provide fully inclusive warm, safe and stimulating sessions in an environment where all children can play, learn and develop freely.
We consult with the children about the activities they enjoy and would like to participate in at club. The children are involved in the planning of meals to encourage an awareness of a healthier lifestyle.
The team use these ideas to develop a programme of fun and interesting activities to help children feel happy and settle quickly.

Our last Ofsted inspection was in April 2024 when we were awarded a "met" grading - the highest available to out of school clubs.

Parent and Carer Feedback

“My children are always happy to go and they are always asked to suggest toys / activities / resources”.

“The staff are all friendly and approachable and the addition of male members of staff (who acts indirectly as positive role models) is a definite asset”.

“Our children both assure us that they enjoy OOSC and Breakfast Club and we appreciate all of the extra support that they receive in order to be made as welcome as possible”.

“I’d also like to say how impressed I have been with the food that they get. Often they come home so full they barely want any dinner (which isn’t a problem at all, as long as we know) and I know that it isn’t chips every day (which must be tempting, as they are so easy to cook and always popular!)”.

“Well done to everyone involved in making the club as successful as it is now.”

“A huge thank you for taking the girls to Holgate Windmill. They came home so excited to tell us all about it and their level of recall and enthusiasm to share what they’d learnt was fantastic!”
